Are there any discounts available for pet insurance?
As with other types of insurance, the premium for your pet insurance will depend on a number of factors.
Many pet insurance providers will offer you a discount if you are insuring more than one pet with them. This could be around 5 to 10 percent of the premium.
If your pet is micro chipped and registered you will usually be offered a lower rate on your premium as this makes it much easier for the pet to be found if it is lost or stolen.
Pet insurance discounts may also be available in special cases such as registered medical service pets, for example guide dogs.
